I am back...finally. No one here knows (b/c no one is reading anymore) but the summer of goneness is officially at a close. What to say at a moment like this? I'm not sure. I went to Hilton Head (to fulfill my DINK requirement), spent three weeks in South Africa, came back with 4 kids I call my own (thought they still reside in SA for now), and just spent a week at Norris Lake with good friends enjoying God's beautiful creation. To top it off? My first lesson with a real life wakeboard instructor...

I am aware that faithful reader (mom) may draw a strange conclusion right now, one akin to "Wow, he just placed meeting children he calls his own on par with a wakeboard lesson. This guy sucks." Funny, I had the same thought. But that's not true. SA this year was more than I can put into words...things happened it's going to take quite a while to process. I know I'll process some of them here, at some point, just not right now. And the wakeboarding thing? There was some stuff accomplished there that signified major fears being overcome. More on that as well.

So in conclusion...I'm back. Yea!
